PRICING AND T&C'S

It must be made aware that treatment cannot commence without first gaining consent from your veterinary surgeon. This is to abide to the laws of The Veterinary Surgeon Act (1966). This only needs to be done for the first treatment. Please go to the contact page and fill in the relevant form. 

Equine First Assessment

£65

The first session may last around 1-2 hours, this is to ensure that a thorough assessment and treatment is conducted.

What to expect within a first consultation: 

  • Discussion of client history.

  • Dynamic and static assessment. Alongside photography and videography to be used as a closer assessment tool outside of the treatment time. 

  • Palpation and joint ROM - a full assessment of the muscles and joints.

  • Treatment - massage, stretching and appropriate electrotherapies.

  • Tailored REP discussed and shown how to perform the exercises. 

This is only applicable after your horse has received a first consultation. A follow up/ maintenance appointment will last around 1-1.5 hours.

 

What to expect from a follow up/maintenance consultation: 

  • Reassessment of client on how they have responded to the last treatment, as well as a discussion on how any REP exercises are going.

  • Static and dynamic assessment with photography and videography.

  • Palpation and joint ROM.

  • Treatment.

  • Progression in REP exercises.

Canine and Feline First Assessment

  • Stance analyser assessment 

  • Palpation and joint ROM - a full assessment of the muscles and joints.

  • Treatment - massage, stretching and appropriate electrotherapies.

  • Tailored REP discussed and shown how to perform the exercises. 

This is only applicable after your animal has received a first consultation. A follow up/ maintenance appointment will last around 1-1.5 hours.

Canine and Feline Follow up / Maintenance

AVAILABLE DISCOUNTS

10% discount on one treatment is for anyone successful in recommending PADDOCK & PAWS.  Equine yard discounts of 10% for each person if 3 people book on the same day from the same yard. This also applies if one person owns 3 or more animals. Service dogs in work are entitled to a 20% discount on all treatments.

TRAVEL FEES

No charge will be given within a 20 - mile radius of Basingstoke. A fee of £1 per mile will be added to anyone outside this radius, which will be calculated via Google maps.

CANCELLATION FEES

The client will be liable to pay 50% if the cancellation occurs 48 hours prior to the appointment. Full charge will be acquired if the cancellation is made under 24 hours prior to the appointment, or if the appointment is a no show. However, if your animal has an illness or contagious disease then you must reschedule the appointment and you will not incur a cancellation charge.

PAYMENT METHODS

Home/ Yard visits - Payment methods of bank transfer, cash or cheque – made payable to Laura Cole. Card payments are available but an extra 50p charge will be added to cover external card transaction fees. Extra charge of £1 per day is given on delayed payments of over a week starting from the eighth day after treatment.

Foxcotte visits – Payment to be made at reception or through their online system on their website.

INSURANCE

Prior to booking an appointment, please contact your animal’s insurance company if you want to claim for your pet’s physiotherapy treatment, you will also need to obtain a claim form. Payment is to be made up front and PADDOCK & PAWS can supply an invoice either after each appointment or at the end of the physiotherapy programme. Once the claim form has been accepted, your insurance company will reimburse you for the costs of physiotherapy treatment.

PRIOR TO BOOKING

Please ensure you book in advance with PADDOCK & PAWS. This is especially important with new clients as treatment cannot commence until a referral form has been filled out and signed by a vet. This allows the vet to know what treatment your animal is having and ensured that it is by a qualified professional, abiding by the Veterinary Surgeons Act (1966).

PRIVACY POLICY

All client’s details are strictly bound by client confidentiality law within the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 and the NAVP code of conduct. A form will be given to fill out and sign in the initial appointment in agreement of PADDOCK & PAWS terms and conditions and in compliance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
